The Superbowl

This afternoon as I sat down to watch the game with a few friends, I began thinking to myself about what this meant. I am finally growing up and becoming an adult(per-say). Of course, I am almost 19 but that is not what I am suggesting. To me, the game has always been watched with my family. Viewing the game on the TV in the comfort of my own living room.

However, this year was very different. I sat down at a friend's house to watch the game with a small group of friends. This was a completely new experience to me. I watched as the team I was rooting for triumphantly win the game(though they are not my favorite team, just the team I favored to win), as I cheered along with my friends. I hope that this remains a tradition, because this game has always meant so much to me.

Sorry for the short post and lack of thought, I'm tired and just returned home from the Superbowl party.
Many thanks, Michael

  1. not a fan of american sports (except hockey) but watching/doing anything with friends is better but don't let that stop you from doing things with your family aswell. hope to see more posts bro :)
